Lebron James

LeBron James is a male American basketball representative, with brown eyes and black hair and heaps of tattoos. James is a 6 foot 8 and 113 kg monster when playing basketball.  He also is an idol to the upcoming stars from College,

This year while playing in the NBA, he made it to his third NBA final. The last time he was in a NBA final was with the Cavaliers.  They got hammered by the 4-time Champion team The San Antonio Spurs with superstar Tim Duncan leading the way for them. This year he was prepared to win against a rising young team, the Oklahoma City Thunder (OKC) They were successful this time in the finals.

James has been a U.S  representative since he started pro basketball in 2004. When he was in the Olympics, the first year he won a bronze medal. At the next Olympics in 2008 the team won a Gold Medal defeating a good Spanish team. He is someone to watch in the future of International  Basketball in the Olympics.

Ezra's Holidays

On Saturday it was my Grandma and Grandpa’s birthday. First of all my Dad was yelling to hurry up and get ready because I woke up late. So I got ready and we went to Long Bay that’s where all the family were meeting for the birthday. The first thing when we got there to was play touch. Me and my brother’s team won at touch. I felt good to win it was a fun game. Later on the family came and we had lunch, I had some chicken and some rice to eat. In the afternoon my Dad said we could have a swim. My brother shouted “last one there doesn't get a chocolate!” lucky I was in front of my brother I came second so I was lucky my sister came last that was sad because she missed out on chocolate. After fifteen minutes we had to go, the time was 4.30pm my Dad said the family were meeting for dinner at Valentines but before we went my Dad said we had basketball at 6.00pm when got there I started shooting some Hoops, but I missed some and I got some in. Then the started we had a full court we go play there because my Dad’s friend is the owner of it. My team won. The people in my team was me, my two brothers and my Dad. The time was 7.45pm. as soon as we got to Valentines I started eating the food, I was starving. It was nice being with my family and eating lots of food, but at 8.30pm my Dad said we had to go. I was full. When we got home I had a shower before I went bed and I was exhausted. I had a nice comfy sleep after such a cool day.

Kite Making

On a cold rainy Monday some people from a group called Matariki came to St Pius X to show Rooms 6, 5, 4, and 3 how to make kites. First of all they gave us some paper then some string, two sticks and sellotape. After we put sellotape on we got coloured crayons, I went with a small tin of colours. I coloured it in blue, red, green, and yellow after we coloured it in we got to fly them. Room 3 went first they got to run around the hall. Then Room 4 ran around after that Room 5 got to run around, finally it was Room 6s turn to run. We split in half girls on one side with a few boys and on the other side all boys, the all boy side went first they ran around then it was us we ran around in a circle. After everyone left Mr Montgomery said we could play octopus in the hall, it was after that we went back to class. At the end I felt happy. It was a good day.
